Mr. Nickolas Lewis grew up in West Covina, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Thereafter, Mr. Lewis became an advocate for various local issues, which eventually resulted in his appointment to one of the City of West Covina’s advisory commissions. After completing his undergraduate education, Mr. Lewis decided to pursue a career in law. Mr. Lewis graduated from Chapman University, College of Law with his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2013. While attending law school, Mr. Lewis was the Vice President of the Chapman Tax Law Society and an executive board editor for the Chapman Law Review. In addition, Mr. Lewis also had the opportunity to work as a Judicial Extern for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals as well as the Alona Cortese Elder Law Center. After passing the California Bar Examination, Mr. Lewis took an associate position with the Fridley Law Firm in Brea, California where he worked for almost four years. In addition, Mr. Lewis was also elected City Clerk for the City of West Covina. While working as an associate attorney, Mr. Lewis has worked extensively in the areas of Trusts, Estates and Conservatorships. In this regard Mr. Lewis had accrued substantial litigation experience, while also assisting clients in everything from simple estate planning to complex trust administrations. Mr. Lewis left the Fridley Law Firm in June 2017, so that he could commit to the development Lewis Riley LLP. Mr. Lewis continues to focus the all aspects of estate planning and Trusts, Estates, and Conservatorships administration and litigation.
