Mr. Oliver Mathew Riley



 

Mr. Oliver Mathew Riley grew up in Claremont, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. Mr. Riley married his high school sweetheart while they were both attending California Polytechnic University, Pomona. While completing his undergraduate education, Mr. Riley decided to pursue a career in law. Mr. Riley graduated from the University of La Verne, College of Law with his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2007. While attending law school he continued to work as a substitute high school teacher. Mr. Riley also spent several years with the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles working as a clerical assistant and a law clerk for a then-sitting judge. Mr. Riley then went on to pass the California Bar Exam on his first attempt. He attributes this to his strong dedication and interest in the field of law. Once Mr. Riley passed the bar examination and was admitted to practice law in the State of California, Mr. Riley took an associate position with the Fridley Law Firm in Brea, CA. Mr. Riley was an associate attorney for the Fridley Law Firm for nearly a decade. While working as an associate attorney, Mr. Riley was admitted the County of Los Angeles Probate Volunteer Panel (PVP), as a result of his years of experience in dealing with Probate, Trusts, Estates, and Conservatorship issues. Mr. Riley is a member of the State Bar of California, the Orange County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. Riley remains active in continuing legal education programs offered by these Bar Associations. Mr. Riley left the Fridley Law Firm in June 2017, so that he could commit to the development Lewis Riley LLP. Mr. Riley continues to focus on Trusts, Estates, and Conservatorships. Specifically, Mr. Riley has focused on litigation aspects of the aforementioned topics.
